Does social media corrupt our feelings?
I’d written a whole long, rambling thing to try to explain the question, but it did not feel right upon reviewing a week later. Rather, I’ll try to follow this question with more questions: what ought we to keep to ourselves? Does social media encourage us to open up excessively about our inner lives and motivations? Which parts of ourselves deserve (and desire) to remain private? How do our feelings and sentiments shift imperceptibly when we’re aware that someone else is watching?
